The Tutankhamun pipes have been created and manufactured to celebrate the centenary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922.
The Tutankhamun pipe is a Diplomat shape in Group 5 (5128).
The pipe is mounted with a hand-sculpted precious metal Tutankhamun windshield, either in solid Sterling Silver or in 9ct Yellow Gold (the latter set with black diamonds as the eyes) and is mounted with matching bands. The beard of the windshield serves as handle to lift the windshield. The silver windshield pipes are accompanied by a solid Sterling silver tamper in shape of richly decorated sarcophagus of the Pharaoh, whereas for the 9ct Gold version the Sterling silver tamper has been gold-plated (Vermeil). The highly collectable Tutankhamun pipes & tampers are presented in a prestigious leather-bound book and come with a numbered and hand-signed limited edition certificate.
